Acmispon argyraeus var argyraeus (Fabaceae). These photographs are all from the San Bernardino Mountains near Onyx Peak and Sugarloaf.

The common name is canyon birdsfoot trefoil.

It grows low to the ground, with small leaves and flowers, attracting small butterflies. It is one of the hosts of the Acmon Blue and Persius Duskywing.
